Royal Plaza Care Center prides itself on offering the extras that help the recuperating person return home, and the full-time resident feel at home.
Our full-service skilled nursing care wing offers 24-hour licensed nursing, quality CNA staff, full therapies, activities, and social and dietary services to meet your needs. The skilled nursing wing is Medicare-approved.
The small size of our facility allows for personal contact with
our friendly and helpful staff. Our activities staff keeps you challenged and active, and
our dietary staff provides regular and special diets that are nutritious and tasty.
As our residents improve, they may wish to move into our
Retirement Center.

Recognizing that each person is
unique, Royal Plaza
designs
a care plan to address the specific needs of those entrusted to its
care, enhancing their quality of life and well-being.
Nursing
Royal
Plaza nurses are
knowledgeable, skilled, dedicated and sensitive professionals. As
licensed and accredited nursing center,
Royal Plaza employs Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurses
and Certified Nursing Assistants.
Recreational Activities
Royal Plaza Care Center offers a unique approach to social and recreational activities. An
Activities Director designs daily activities that promote social and
physical interaction, communication and fond memories. Royal
Plaza provides residents with transportation on outings and
luncheons. Monthly Resident Council meetings afford the opportunity
for self-expression regarding their day-to-day happenings.
Social Services
The Social Services Department at
Royal Plaza
offers each resident and their families the option to
discuss and develop solutions to meet personal needs. Additionally,
Royal Plaza's
staff will provide discharge planning when applicable.
Rehabilitation
Royal Plaza's
Rehabilitation includes physical, speech and occupational therapy
provided by the most qualified and accredited personnel in the
profession.
Nutrition
Meals are prepared fresh daily by
Royal Plaza's on-site
dietary department. Meals are presented in an appetizing manner and
are scheduled and supervised by a Registered Dietitian. Special
diets are also available.
BEAUTY AND BARBER SHOP
Royal Plaza has two full service beauty salons for all your hair
care needs.
THERAPIES
Physical Therapy
Our highly experienced physical therapy team works to help each
resident achieve maximum ability and independence through strength,
balance and mobility training.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapy team helps residents increase their
independence through bathing, cooking, dressing and money management
training.
Speech therapy
Our speech therapist will assess and aid residents with swallowing,
speech and language problems.

Our Transitional care unit offers 16 spacious
private rooms designed with patient comfort in mind. We work with
residents to restore them to their optimal health and independence.

- What is required upon
admission?
Upon arrival, there will be paperwork that needs to be signed by
either you or your legal representative.
Please provide front and back copies of the following
documents (We would be happy to make copies for you):
o Advanced Directive/Living Will
o Power of Attorney
o Medicare Card
o Medical Insurance Cards
o Medicaid Card
o Social Security Card
- What other items should I
bring?
Suggested list of items you may wish to bring with you:
Please mark items with a permanent marker.
o Comfortable, cotton-blend clothing
o Washable vs. dry clean
o Tennis shoes or rubber soled shoes
o Jacket and/or sweater
o Several pairs of underwear
o Several pairs of socks
o Robe and slippers
Not Suggested: Delicate fabrics
o Any item that may shrink/fade when washed
o Any valuable jewelry other than wedding ring
- What about mail?
Our Activities Department delivers resident mail Monday through
Saturday to each resident's room. All out-going mail may be
dropped off at the Nurses Station located in the main lobby.
